Came here for the first time with my girlfriend after a pleasant walk around Historic Old New Castle / Battery Park. We were hungry and struggling to find a place open on a Monday to feed us. We eventually found ‘AKs Halal Bites’ close by! Temperature inside was nice and cool, pleasant outdoor patio, polite & efficient service, wide selection of food, and delicious to boot. 10/10 would recommend. Can’t wait to come back & try more of the menu!
Halal Bites food is always good and they are convenient and extremely quick. Nick has gone out of his way to help us; he and other staff are always friendly and helpful. In addition, they will customize your order to suit your needs. It’s a great place and we love their kulfi ice cream!

I drive an hour from PA on the weekends just to get their combo platters, it is that good. Every time we come they’re friendly and service is always quick. The rice is flavorful, the chicken and lamb are seasoned beautifully and the flavors go so well with the sauces. The fresh mix salad brings it all together for a platter that’s out of this world at a really great price. I would recommend AK to anyone within an hour’s drive as the best place to get a delicious combo platter!
They are so sweet, they play music and it’s always cold in here which is awesome in the summer. I come here all the time with my friend, the employees remember us and are so crazy friendly. Love this place so much
The chicken is seasoned to perfection, deeply marinated and super crispy. Loved it. Not usually a fan of mac & cheese bites but the ones here made me go back for more. This place gets a 5/5 just for the chicken, the rest is a cherry on top
